Is there a right way to get your CDL? Old Drivers & ROOKIES

Who has time to listen to such "crap"???

 

I would listen to (not watch) these videos if the author would get to the point.

They never do.

We don't need background information. Whatever you are going to title the video, please speak about that immediately.

 

I agree with this constructive criticism. Get to the point. Don't care about any of that other foolishness. As the member with all the numbers in his name said, if you're not talking about the title in the video within like 20 seconds of the start, I'm off it.

 

One: I cant see or concur with the "controversy "OP claims
2. This guys gonna make a perfect candidate, just from the dramatic nature
3. He'll provide new, fresh storytelling and perhaps some much needed videos this industry lacks on youtube......(wink)

 

I suggest not getting your cdl through a mega sponsored cdl program like what cr England offers for example. It will make you their prisoner for a period of time likely 2 years. Better to get it through a private school that way if you want to get a local driving job you can leave no debt owed.

 

I got my CDL through a tech school....did a LOT of research and started with Roehl. I wanted a company that I thought would continue my training and help me develop good safety skills. Contract I signed, (although I swore I would never do that) was 75,000 miles. But, through my research I thought I could stay at least that long or I would have never signed on. I wound up staying a year and a month. Would have walked several times if not for that contract. As I look back I worked hard to learn. I made OK money. I learned the business a little and got a good foundation.
My main message to new drivers.....pick your company carefully. If you think you may have trouble staying there 6 months to a year, don't hire on. Job stability will open doors for you. JMHO

 

when a video is 8 minutes long and it only would take 8 seconds to say. you know it is a crap video
