And from a shop stand point the aftermarket warranty’s are not even worth the paper they are written on.
Every thing from making the vehicle owner pay for tear down and inspection to only paying the shop a portion of their hourly rate.
Also I have seen a refusal to pay for parts and labor that were collateral damage.
And sometimes force a shop to reuse a part that should be obviously replaced.
I gave up on accepting aftermarket warranties a long time ago.
.
Is there a single warranty on the planet that Is worth the cost?

I think the money is better spent on tools and the inevitable replacement parts.

Those warranty companies exist to make a profit. It's statistics. They know just how much to charge, just how much they'll pay out, and for you it's all a gamble. Thing is, if you win, the House still might not pay.
Would you go to Vegas and gamble, knowing even if you did happen to win, they might just refuse to pay you?Tb0n3 Thanks this. -

I’ve had two full overhauls done through that program. Money well spent.
The truck must be less then 6 yrs old and less then 600k miles and of course, you be the 2nd owner of it. Dealer does not count as an owner. When buying from a dealer it’s not a bad idea to have this inspection done first, as it’s just another check to see if there are any hidden issues your unaware of.
