Is there any company that will put me through training and give me regional or local after training?

Food service is not for the weak of heart. Because you want to do local, is NOT a reason to go to food service.

I'm a former Marine, 0311 (infantry rifleman aka "grunt") and I can say most days when I was working at sysco were harder on my body than when I was humping in the field.

    Bob Dobalina Thanks this.

Call one of them and ask them what they are looking for. Let them know you are interested. Attitude goes along way. You will never get the experience unless you go after it.

It takes nuts and confidence to do that job. your gonna have to work for it, it won't come to you.
