    Believe it or not there are loads out there that are "hazmat required" that don't have the first bit of hazmat on them. They require it for the background check. Also most companies will pay and extra 1-2cpm for all miles just because you have it.

    Considering Hazmat is a required for employment at most companies anymore...yeah you need to get that endorsement. If you ever want to try LTL you will need the doubles/triples and Hazmat endorsement before getting a job at Old Dominion, ABF, or UPS.
