    i am trying to find some one to rent a truck to take cdl in grand forks north dakota or fargo north dakota on october first or secound any help would be appreciated

    call ryder or penske. they are your only option, and expect to pay 500 or so. you will most likely not find an individual willing to rent you his truck. every insurance policy I've seen specifically forbids renting out your equipment. and no one but individuals listed may operate the insured vehicle.

    You need to show up with a CDL driver with you. You can't rent a truck with just a permit, you can't show up at DMV with just a permit.

    problem with ryder or penske is that you have to have cdl i am looking for some one to meet me at cdl driving test and i have found schools in montana that will rent trucks also found a owner in hazen but test is in fargo

    Move to Montana (on paper) and take your test, after you get your CDL then transfer it back to North Dakota.

    was thinking this but the problem with that is the time part of it i would have not only the cost of the truck rental also the housing to beable to stay there or the gas back and fourth

    Mike Go down to the big souix or flying j and check with some of the local drivers or ask some of the local trucking comanies in grand forks if they know of somebody who could help you out.Hope it works out.

    There may be a truck company that will loan you or rent you a truck to take the test, then they may even give you a job, :yes2557: I am thinking that is why you are doing all of this. Not sure just thinking!:biggrin_25512:

    no i have a job just trying to get to work sooner the sooner i get cdl sooner i get a pay check to start paying bills
