I hope it works out for you. I've posted the story on here a couple of times about the CRST truck with 2 drivers in it who after both trying to back into a rather easy dock, for over 30 minutes only to fail, they both threw the towel in and had a driver from a different company back in to the dock for them. That's the one and only time I've seen 2 drivers from the same truck fail...

I'm sure that doesn't happen often....I hope not

Good luck get your year under yer belt and move on to a better company.

You and I have the same plans but I am 51. stick to your plan and don't be swayed. Be in it to win it. A lot can happen in a year as you know.

    Good luck!

    BE ADVISED.
When you go to leave CRST, companies are not going to look at you as a solo qualified driver.
If you become a trainer, and as someone coming in green, your gonna need a lot more than a year to do that, then they will count that time towards be solo qualified.

IF you drive the truck solo, cause your partner flaked off or whatever, they still only pay you for half the miles, they cut your rate in half.

I trained at CRST, and you need to search and find some of my stories on here. They are the gospel truth, and I couldn't make the stuff up if I tried.

It was the some of weirdest experience in my entire life, AND buddy, that is saying something.

Of all the bad choices of a place to start, you are choosing the Holy Grail of Awful.

    YOU HAVE SO BEEN ADVISED.

Like I stated I kind of have no option for now so I'll have to take the sacrifice to get where I want to be within trucking.

I definitely appreciate everything your saying though I just can't sit here and wait for a company to open the hiring area back to my area, I'm ready to start my career and I'm just doing this pretty much to get used to driving the truck.
