Is there anyone who'll hire me with three accidents on my record that are a year old?

No, I don't think you get what I'm saying.
I've just personally never experienced jobs where others complain about me all the time.
Then, why are you still there...If that's the case?
Why would you WANT to be there? -
Here's the thing. I only wanted to gain more experience behind the wheel, so that when the incidents roll off my record, I'd have enough experience to be employable. At first, it was working until I started getting falsely accused of damaging stuff literally every day! Now that they mover me off the truck and made me work in the warehouse, I am gonna quit, but I need to have another job lined up first. I pay one third of the rent, so my parents would be pretty mad if I quit without having another job lined up...
Chinatown Thanks this. -

Try some second chance companies. Even the worst ones, you'll make enough to pay your 1/3rd of the rent. You just don't know which company will hire you until you try.
Roadtex Transportation
USA Truck
TransAm
Western Express
PI&I Motor Express
Senn Freight Lines
Paschall Truck Lines
Southern Refrigerated Transport
Note - submit online applications before calling. This way when you call, you'll already have an application on file and they can get right down to business.
Say something like,"I want a new job because I want to drive, not be a yard jockey."
Don't say anything about the other yard jockeys whining about you, or the new company may think you're a trouble maker.Lepton1 and Oldironfan Thank this. -
Carolina transport I believe. But 10 cents per mile is crazy.

A guy just was saying he makes 10 cents? Unless he was not counting per diem?TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.

Carolina Cargo. Low pay for sure, but it's .10 cpm for all miles the truck runs, not just what he drives. Several drivers that post on here had to get started there and now they're doing just fine after a few months and moving on to a different company.
I had to work for $ .0850 cpm one time and got lots of grief from other drivers with different companies. They all had their negative comments and no constructive advice. I'm very hard headed and made it work for me in the long run. I hated it when some clown would have some smart remark about what I was making and brag about his big paychecks, then when I'd say, "OK, will your company hire me?" Of course, the answer was "NO" and I'd play dumb and ask, "OK, which company do you recommend for me?" Then it was something like, "Sorry bud, I got to hit the road now." End of conversation!Last edited: Feb 11, 2018
