Is there anyone who'll hire me with three accidents on my record that are a year old?

Had 2 first month out. Pulled out of ts spot and took guy mirror off with my tail end. Same guy that helped me back into that spot... Sorry man couple weeks latter scraped side my trailer on a building. . Minor property dmg but still incidents at my fualt. Year latter i changed lanes same time as anouther car was. Got cited for failure to control. My fualt dot reportable accident. Had to go piss and everything. Drove for 2 more months tring to fight the ticket but still lost. Fired.. Great.. 2 days latter i had a much better job with a much better company. Incident free ever since thank god. People will give you a chance if your up front and honest.

"People will give you a chance if your up front and honest."
Not the experience I've been having. No matter how honest I am, I get instantly rejected by every company I apply at. My parents tell me, "the definition of 'insanity' is doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome.' " Well if that's true, it's foolish to think one of these companies will ever hire me. It's been nearly three years. I'm willing to accept my defeat and accept my fate. No one's ever gonna hire me, so I might as well leave the trucking industry.

I'm currently in Northampton Community College studying to be an architect. I should've done this from the start. I'm even thinking of going to the DMV and forfeiting my CDL. No point in having one if no one will hire me, but my parents keep saying, "it's better to have a CDL and not need it, then to neef one and not have it." I don't expect to need one ever again.

I'll bet when I graduate, if I were to call any of these companies, they'd still reject me instantly.

If you’re absolutely certain you won’t ever use your CDL again, then I would have it removed from your license because it holds you to a higher standard as well in your personal vehicle. Example: DUI is .04 instead of .08 so go have a couple drinks with your buddies and you might actually be legally drunk with a CDL. There are police officers that seem to enjoy getting loose with the ticket book when dealing with a CDL holder as well, because they demand you “know better” relative to the average Joe.

The day I’m done with trucking 100%, the first thing I’m doing the next day is having my CDL removed...

I’m having a great time running my own business and don’t see myself ever driving again. However I will keep my cdl until dmv takes it.

He should be backing up at a Walmart or Menards DC, not Family Dollar or Dollar General. I often see trucks there and wonder how the hell did they even get back there. The problem is that the account doesn't pay well and any seasoned driver would not waste their time on that account. They get new guys that don't know better. When they screw up they just pull another one in. NEXT!

sorry for being so direct, but in this industry, we should have to be very careful, truck drivers are getting a real bad rep for day after day accidents that end up on the news everyday. good luck, maybe later In life, you can work your way back into the industry, again, sorry for being so rude.
