is there one bank better for on road ?

    If you do decide to stick with bank of america, call them now to avoid "identity theft prevention security alerts". Charge in 3 or 4 states and they'll shut your card off until you call them and verify your identity. If you call ahead they'll let you choose about a dozen states you can charge in for 6 months or so, but they want 2 months advanced notice.

    I switched over to USAA when I was on the phone modifying my auto insurance. Now I don't pay ATM fees and only pay $300 a year for auto insurance, which is INSANELY low for a 21 year old male. I remember back when I was 16 they were charging me $1100 every 6 months XD
