If you have an Android phone get the FoxFi app and you can use your phone with existing data plan.

Steramin NetFlix is no problem. Download the free version first to make sure it works then pay for upgrade.

If you stay with free version you still have about 15 min and it automatically turns off, just turn it back on,

I ditched AT&T, kept the iPhones and use them on straight talk. 45 plus tax a month. Technically it's not unlimited data, but I face time my wife and kid all the time while I drive and have never had a problem. I also use it as a hot spot for Netflix.

When you Skype you don't have to have there "video" on, you can have just yours on so they can see you. It's the same thing as using hands free Blu-Tooth but they can see you. Again you are only making yourself sound like an #####. This post was to get info on wifi not "you think it's a good idea if I hold my iPhone up infront of me while I drive is a good idea." Please move on. Anyways for the people that would like to help and not act like there $h!t don't stink, do all truck stops have wifi and do they all cost money?

Reading this thread is making me believe it is safer to be on the sidewalk then the road. Here's a idea just record your trip then email it to them. No talking our distractions. Be safe. Miss the days of pay phones and pagers.
