    One good thing about it is it doesn't have all the emissions crap on it, only a pcv valve?? I wouldn't do otr in it though.

    A Mechanic at work just told me today that they ordered a couple Ishift transmissions for 2 of our fleet trucks costing $23k Cad ($17,250 Usd) including installation. Volvo's have one of the best transmission' but the overall Volvo truck is weak not designed for heavy loads.

    It's not a Volvo. I thought it was an old 670 but it's a FL.

    I've never heard anything good about Mercedes engines in semi trucks.

    There was a former member (leftlanetrucking iirc) who had one.
    Slow but economical is how he described it.

    I think any truck is only as good as the maintenance done to it.
