Is this a good deal? Free CDL training, .46cpm and 1 year contract?

I wouldn’t drive for any company that hid their dispatchers from pissed off drivers

 

Sorry for forgetting to post my company. I drive for Frozen Food (FFE). The guys i have talked to on the road usually ah, yeah, FeeFee. I know them but havent heard anything about them. Nothing good, nothing bad. Y'all are just out there quiet, creepn around.

I dont know the full reason for the white Volvo thing. I suspect it's to do with all the unmarked trucks and drivers that wear black track suits with flip flops and socks. You'll see that outfit a lot. A lot of the guys here are older and wore jeans, boots, tucked in shirts with belts on the road daily.

So the new breed is viewed as lazy by old hands. In some ways or a lot of ways they may be right. But older folks frowning on newer generations is nothing new at all. I remember reading some rants from Teddy Roosevelt about girly men going to work in offices. A man should be outside on his horse in the elements, hunting and chopping wood! He would say. I wondered how much time he spent indoors busting all those Trust Funds? Lol

It's not just Volvo though. Went I worked at an Amazon fulfilment center half those prime drivers I saw wore those black Adidas suits with white socks. Didnt think anything of it at the time. Its kinda funny now.

It's like not thinking anything of Swift. Then you see the stereotype and all the youtube videos of Swift drivers making mistakes. Then anytime after that you see Swift messing up its funny. They have a lot of drivers on the road that are bran new so naturally there be a lot of video. FFE has a lot of bran new drivers also but it's a smaller outfit, I'm sure.

Cents per mile doesn’t tell the whole story. If you are sitting a lot, your cents per mile don’t pay anything.
