    Ok,not realy interested in this right now,just curious what more experienced people think.
    There is a big shop in chicago,and this is what they offer:

    2007 VOLVO 670----- this engine will have 0 miles on it,new engine being instaled,cummins ISX 450hp

    26,000$----brand new engine, 2 years/200k warranty
    2800$----engine install labor
    1500$---steer and drive axel shoes and drums
    750$---king pins and alignment
    650$---steer and drive axle shocks
    900$---firestone front tires and balance
    2900$---drive tires with new valve stems,Double Coin tires
    600$---clutch,high torque eaton,2 years warranty
    3000$---new transmission from Weller, 1 year warranty,warranty good in 17 states
    1000$---body work,paint hood,bumper,both cowl,paint frame,detail exterior and interior,new style hood mirrors
    400$---new batteries,2 years warranty
    15,000$---truck purchase

    Total----58,000$

    The outfit is making alot extra on the shocks,can you plug into ECM to see total mi. on truck?

    Most places around here charge $200 an axles for brakes....

    I'd rather have good drive tires. Goodyear, Bridgestone, or Michelin's - would not flush $2,900 down the toilet on 8 Double Coin drives. I paid double what they charge for a kingpin job. Yeah those shocks are double what they should cost. I dunno maybe not bad. I'd rather put that money down on a brand new glider but that's just me.

    Cummins must really believe in their motors. Only 200,000 or 2 years whichever is first? You either love CAT's or you hate them but they stand behind their motors unlimited miles 3 years standard upgradeable to 4. Yeah I know you can't get a CAT in a Volvo that's just my opinion on ISX's.

    Warrenty is too expensive. Freightliner was quoted me 6000 for 200000 mile 2 year Warranty.
