Is this a Michigan thing?

Eh, even if its done right, you think any municipality/county/state,/federal govt entity is going to bother to keep up essential maintenance?

 

At least Michigan has adequate truck parking. They are literally the only state -- except maybe the Dakotas -- you don't have to worry about how late you are driving. Drive until midnight if you want, you'll still be able to find a legal spot.

 

Actually, Wyoming has a lot of truck parking along major highways.
California is in the top 3 or so for worst parking availability.

 

@Ridgeline you must live waaay downtown if you call middlbelt and 96 the burbs. That’s the start of city to me.

 

On those service roads. How do I know when they're one way, and two way? Wait till I got a freaked out person coming at me?
