Is this a normal sound? 2019 x15 cummins

Sounds like my cummins, noisey engine, embassing!

 

Noise indeed. Truck is at dealer now, they are telling me the Noise is normal 2019 X15, due to wrong torqued specifications on the fuel pump by factory. Cummins says no harm to it, so I will drive it like that. Just doing an overhead on it.

 

all 2350s sound like rods coming out of them piss poor motor

 

It turns out Cummins has a bulletin on the fuel pump making a helicopter sound(like mine) due to a timing error. Navistar and Cummins has gone in cahoots over this. On the bulletin is says no harm to the fuel pump or engine. It's annoying, but I'm not touching it lol. I did leave it for an overhead. Truck has 420k miles.

You can run the overhead all you want and time the pump any way you like still going to sound like crap nature of the beast
