Really, nobody's business what is done on off time? How about sawing off barrel of shotguns/rifles too short, printing counterfeit money, buying/selling women for prostitution, producing corn mash liquor, trading child porn, injecting heroin, bribing politicians, shining lasers at a police helicopter, making bootleg copies of Hollywood movies? There is an endless list of things you cannot do on your off time.

 

I'm not against the corn mash one......lol the only reason it is illegal is because it is not taxed give em there money and it is pegal

The point was I was proving there is no allowance to do anything you want on your off time as was claimed. I listed numerous examples of things that are illegal and will become govt business if you do them, even on your off time. Just having an attitude about something doesn't change the laws anymore than having an excuse allows you to break the speed limit or drive overweight. Our opinion isn't what determines what is legal or punished. Not agreeing with the law doesn't exempt one from the law. Telling some cop you don't have to show a license to drive because you are just traveling isn't going to keep you out of jail or prevent one from getting a ticket. If you volunteer for criminal prosecution just saying "nope" or proposing the end of the federal govt won't protect you.
