    Truck has 86k miles steering wheel feels pretty stiff got a hissing air noise when turning anywhere but 12 o clock what should I check

    When was the last time the front end was greased? Did you check the power steering fluid level? You might have air assisted steering. Have someone turn the wheel while another person looks/listens for the source/location of the hissing sound.
