You’re reading it tho, you’re complaining about me complaining that makes sense to you?

@gokiddogo, Sometimes it's just time. I spent from May of 04 to April of 20 building a successful business. Really had it made.
Told my wife early in April of 20 that I wasn't sure if the stress was worth it anymore. Officially closed May 1st
I ain't near as well off financially, but I'm happy. I like happy, so I'm expecting a few more different careers yetlynchy, Vampire, RedForeman and 3 others Thank this. -
I am not complaining at all. I get a kick out of people like you.

@gokiddogo I get you are sensing it's time for a change. First big change is the worst. You'll figure out what's next.
I'm 57 and now doing my 4th career, but who's counting? When I finally drop dead, the tombstone will say: "He did what the F he wanted to do."
PS: I been giving thought to another change. Just haven't gotten to what that will be yet.Dennixx, Vampire, Opendeckin and 7 others Thank this. -
Love it!Vampire, JoeyJunk, RedForeman and 1 other person Thank this.

If you're doing well with it, stick with it. Not many good employers out there left that don't want every last drop out of you by the end of the day not to mention the extreme micromanagement. As far as a driver goes I would can that idea as well. Only driver I would ever put in my truck would be the guy I bought it from who ordered it new and he is long since retired. It has it moments I know but keep on grinding and save money if you can

I don’t think he wants or needs any answers from us. Just needed to vent that particular day.
Vampire, Bean Jr., Geronimo17 and 3 others Thank this. -
It's more than that, this is going to take me quite some time to arrive at a final decision. Similar crossroads where I've been before in life, only the game is bigger now. Am I going all in or am I shifting course completely. Like everything else in life I'll hum and haw and weigh my options seemingly to no end, but when the decision is made, there's no unmaking it. Eliminates second guessing and regret afterwards.
Either way, the root of the issue is the same. Jordan Peterson said something that really stuck with me: "men, especially young men, need to carry a heavy load in life. They need responsibility, purpose, in order to derive meaning from life." (Something along these lines)
I need a heavier load to carry.
