Those are mostly Georgia loads. Almost all of the Florida ones are under $2.00, require a double drop and overweight permits, or PLS who will probably not pay you until you threaten to file on their bond. Even then, you're likely going to end up kicking the can down the road having to deadhead out of New England.

I've previously had some luck with New South Transport brokering their overflow lumber loads out of north Florida and southern Georgia. They've been pretty fair with their rates.

I deadhead to GA a lot as it is now. Mondays load is from GA. Thankfully I am in north FL.

I believe it’s going to be a great time to buy a flatbed in the next year or so, it will be an excellent tax write off to sit in the yard until I need it/ rates bounce back while I pull my reefer.

It’s as bad of a time to get into flatbed as it gets. You are welcome to do it though.

Yeah that looks bad but that’s sorta like saying all toilet paper is bad when in fact it’s the already used paper that’s bad

There’s still good rates but it’s not going to be leftovers or on many boards
Agents who had drivers help them out the past few years and who didn’t keep giving stuff back to them if they found something better are now the ones getting the better rate call’s directly

Well, he’s trying to get into flatbed now, so will he be getting these calls you are talking about? Not sure what are you arguing.
