Minus about 4 grand for schooling. Or a year of your life indentured for "free" school.

Life only goes around one time, so 4 grand is no big loss in the big picture.
Trucking is a good career and every company has their share of cry babies. You have to be a stronger person than the whiners & wimps.

$4K for a career you will not stay in is a big deal!
Maybe you have that kind of money to throw away. But most here do not.

No, and I have never had that kind of money to throw away, but I would take a chance and find out if a new career is for me or not.

Trucking is a great career. Not for everyone but what is? It depends on how you go about it. Will you go to school and then become a rookie driver pulling a van like 90% of people do? Then chances are you won't make much and you will quit. Think outside the box and approach trucking from different types of freight.

The OP is only 28 yrs. old and probably has another 60 + yrs. to live so plenty of time to recoup any losses from tuition expenses.

4 grand for a ROI of a 50-65k a year salary, pretty good investment if you ask me.

That's correct and with a little research can easily make that his first year solo.
