Is Turbo Tax trucker friendly?

    The only way you'll know that is at the end of the TurboTax is to look at the actual IRS documents it generates and make sure all the tax deduction numbers on the Schedule C look correct. That's how I found the Per Diem error. I hand calculated what the grand total for per diem should appear as, and it took that number and automatically chopped it down to only 80%, which is a pretty significant error on a 2021 or 2022 return.

    I also see that don't let you take 100% of fuel it was like 4800 on 48k in fuel ...I am happy I have atbs as part of my contract ...they are handling my amendment for me

    Yes and it wouldn't add it I put in gasoline tab then it only gave me a like 4k deduction on schedule c iam good now I have atbs on it either way I git to fix it

    That location is more for the use of personal car I believe. Not used for commercial vehicle that had another area that you have to add.

    that's what I thought I called the tax expert at turbo tax they said gas/diesel is the same in business....lolol look I.... might not be the smartest guy but I felt like they where talking down to me its ok I tried to do them i have never had a hard time doing doing personal taxes i was definitely not pre paired to do business taxes ill use Abts since Iam already paying them ... it was funny i had a flash back when i was 18 I Rember going to the public library and doing my taxes lololo i was so confused i thought TRump fixed this to be all on a post card...

    It is not for the fait hearted for sure. I have always done my own taxes since I was legal too. I also have a few very smart business people that I pick brains to help on my taxes. If you do not know how to do the taxes right it can cost you a lot of money. Well worth paying someone to do them if not prepared.
