Located is Los Angeles. No Experience. 38yr old and no kids/wife. I plan on living in the truck for the majority of the time. I want to run as much as possible and spend my 34 hr reset in a new city and explore.

If you can recommend anything better than Werner please let me know. I’ve applied at swift, NR England and Schneider. Werner sounds like the best option.

    Chinatown Thanks this.

Warner is as good of a place as anywhere else to get started and gain experience. All of those are as good as anywhere else to start. Wherever you go, try to make it a year. That way you can focus on honing your skills above all else.

CPM offer can trick drivers. CPM doesn't mean much unless the company also has good accessorial pays to go along with CPM. Accessorial pays may include:
Stop Pay - when you stop to make a delivery or pickup.
Detention Pay - when you're waiting to load/unload.
    34 hr. restart pay.
    and on and on.
