It what you make it. If me being experienced have to go back to Western Express it would be humbling because of where I'm at in my life & career. In life sometimes you are humbled. In your case if that is the only opportunity open for you make it work for you as you move forward in your journey. You may meet some decent people along the way & you may be a help to someone & vice versa. All the best to you in your journey. Remember we live in a great country with great opportunities.

You could try finding smaller companies and look at Craigslist. Put you location on here and maybe @Chinatown can help you.

Try TransAm. Pay is low, but sometimes we have to bite the bullet for a few months.
    TransAm Driver Requirements:
    • Valid CDL-A
    • Minimum 21-years-old
    • No DUI convictions in last 2 years
    • No more than 2 preventable accidents in last 36 months
    • No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 6-month period

Western Express is a 2nd chance company. It's the "go to" company now that Carolina Cargo has re-organized and changed their hiring criteria.

Lots of negative posts regarding Western, mostly lack of miles.
Try Legend one of the few places I wish I would have stayed with, good miles, moneys isn't bad around 50 cpm, paid for receipts without questions things the truck needed like fuses, gladhands mudflaps, etc...
