Issues with Garmin Dezl 700OTR

New driver here. So just my two cents worth.

Purchased a new GARMIN Delz 700 OTR model at the flying J in London, On.

First trip out it reported I94 was closed west bound and kept trying to reroute.

Next trip it reported the following road closures. I81, I86, I90, I190, and 401. Always re routing to county roads.

When I contacted customer service at Garmin they suggested a hard re boot and change my settings from 80000 lbs to 79000 lbs. To no avail.

A second call to Garmin I was told the new map updates are glitchy and maybe I should look for an older unit.

Shout out to Brenda at the "J" in London. 401 exit 189. She extended a full refund to me well after the 7day return policy.
