isx- cruise problems

    I got 2010 Columbia with an ISX. At 67mph it hesitates on cruise and then it picks on up to 70mph. Using the foot the truck never hesitates.
    Both foot and cruise settings are 70. I'm the mechanic and I would like to remedy this for my driver. I'm figuring this is a programming or parameter setting causing the problem. Anybody experiencing this w/ Isx.

    It's very doubtful its a programming issue. More than likely something is wrong with the engine, a loose wire, a bad sensor or EGR issue. But, its not big enough to set a check engine light. Sound's like one of those things that even if you took it to a Cummins dealer, they wouldn't be able to find it. Just be thankful the truck runs, just read some of the posts on here about trucks being in the shop for weeks, even months, all because the shop/mechanics can't figure out what the problem is.
