    Hey Heavyd,
If i gave you my engine serial number do you have a way to see what updates it has had?
Or what update it would need for HP increase if that is possible?

It has been about 6 months since any updates were done to it and it pulls like a slug...lol!

    Engine # 79372009
    Serial# 5074291

    Any info would be great.
    looks like a 2009 engine in a 2011 truck.

Looks like it is rated at 435.
I could have sworn i read 475 somewhere on the engine.

it looks like its a 435 from ISIS and from what QSOL says. has warranty on the engine for 5yrs 500k. Its an 07 emission engine. International stocked tons of 07 isx to install trks during 2010 tell they had the 2010 MY maxxforce up and going

Your ECM code is AV10064.26. The "26" at the end is the version. The very latest is version 42. If you had the latest installed your ECM code would be AV10064.42. Version 42 was released in Oct 2012. Version 42 was an update to reduce fault code 1691 which is aftertreatment related, (catalyst efficiency). Version 41 was released May 2012, to reduce 125 fault codes which is intake manifold pressure below minimum and causing derating. 40 was released Nov 2011, no release notes. There were several updates in 2011 for performance and aftertreatment improvements. If your ECM was updated any time in 2012 you would have had everything up to that point installed. The updates released last year will only help you if you are experiencing those specific issues. But it doesn't hurt to be totally up to date.

    Thanks Heavyd,
I do get manifold pressure codes all the time.
Sounds like it is way behind on updates if it has version 26.

Appreciate the info! I will get it in the shop next week and have it plugged in.

Version 26 is the version at the time the engine was originally made. It is probably 39 or better right now if you had updates 6 months ago. Those intake manifold sensors plug up all the time. It may just be packed with carbon and causing your issues right now.

Thinking back it has been over 6 months since any updates so i'm sure it is due.
I pulled that sensor and cleaned it before.....will do it again.

I think it was about June 2012 the last time it was updated.
Not sure if they really updated it then.....they said they re-flashed it or something...It had derated at the time and i think it has again.
