It didn't work out for me the first time. Will it workout if I try again?

Lol yes I "GOT" me a degree J/K. Actually the career choice was to get into the trucking industry. The only way I was able to learn how to drive a truck was to get with an OTR company. I feel it is important to know what your employees go through on a day to day basis. I clean have cleaned 80% of my residential clients and 100% of my commercial clients personally. My cleaning ladies have no excuse to get the houses done in the time alotted because I have done it myself. I drove my taxi for 3 months before I started leasing them out.

Actually my friend I may have to post a picture of myself when I get the time. I'm not your "average looking" Driver. I am an ex bodybuilder so my body was used to eating 6 meals a day. Yogurt and fruit are not a meal. twice I was able to eat a decent meal. grilled chicken breast,a baked potato and veggies. it cost me $25 with the tip. Most places were able to scramble me 4 eggs and give me a bowl of oatmeal but it still ran me $9.shower ran me $13 if I wasn't at a stop that I shower for free. This is only 2 meals. lunch was usually subway so that ran me another $8. I quickly adapted to 3 meals a day but realized I would have to eventually have to get down to 2 until I made it through training. I have a lot of friends that workout and drive but they all have local gigs. I figured after a year I would either own a truck or two or just drive part-time locally. It was a sad sight that 80% of the men I saw looked as if they were pregnant. on a daily I was approached by drivers saying "#### man how did you get so big? do you workout?" I simply replied not eating the food they serve here. and on occasion when someone asked me specific questions about diet and exercise I took the time to explain and help as much as I could.

Speaking of pre and post trip she never did one nor asked me to. The second day I decided I would do them on my own.

I have a business account buddy. Not sure what you know about accounting but I cant just withdraw money out if anytime I want without and expense attached to it. I have two personal checking accounts and keep 500 - 1000 in one (this is my bill paying account) and 100-250 in the other(this is my weekly spending account) I also keep 100-200 cash on me at all times. I have one credit card I use for emergencies and that was used for a rental car and a plane ticket home. The rest is safe from the federal government.

I just ran into him yesterday so I am going to give him at least a week. my goal was to learn and I made sure I paid attention to everything and asked questions when I wasn't being instructed on what as going on. I was still in the this is fun stage but without food and sleep those feelings came and went with my appetite. I have decided in order to get myself physically ready to drive again I need to come home and help my cleaning ladies out. I am used to sleeping whenever I get the slightest bit tired. I work out at least twice a day and usually 3 times. Maybe the big change was a shock to my mind and body. instead of sitting home doing office work I am going to get my butt out of the house and clean as well as try to increase my clientele with a door to door hustle approach.(commercial cleaning only)

lol you got me there. A t that time, I was at the bar typing from my phone. I think my point was I assume most of the people here can spell and use proper grammar but we are typing on phones nowadays that don't have spell check built into the browsers and its hard to scroll back and check everything on a tiny screen.

OTR is a shock for many as to why many don't succeed.Hope everything works out for you with your other plans.

You work out 2 or 3 times a day, have a strict diet and eat 6 times a day, sleep at the first hint of fatigue and have to go home every time you need cash. I don't see trucking working out for you.

What I could get out of that one long paragraph was that you lack any patience.

You couldn't wait one day for a truck repair so you grabbed the first trainer you could find without any forethought?
Couldn't wait a day or 2 for another trainer?

You are way to easily frustrated and it clearly affects your performance (Knight seems to have identified this when they let you go). It doesn't sound like this carrier is for you as even with a local gig there are always lots of delays to deal with and you do not seem to do that well.
