    What was the effect you experienced when it happened, such as noise or handling? Any damage to spindle?

    Yup. Everything has a service life. Those sealed lifetime ujoints and other components need to be replaced on a time basis. Since orignal poster never said how many miles on truck, it may have exceeded recommended time to replace. Unless they failed prematurely. Then that is another issue.

    ABS light came on that friday on the way home which i should have investagated a little could have saved on towing cost left out monday and about 150 miles started hearing a scrubing noise every once in a while and it seem like the wind was catching the truck blowing it but wasnt windy out, I could tell it was something in the steering pulled off a ramp front right rim was hot enough to cook on. Didn't do any damage to the spindle
