I've seen it blow 80+ up there. It was all I could do to keep a 117,000 pound pneumatic A-train on the roadjerezxp7 Thanks this.

I had my 3 light bar attached to my load with a tie strap and 4 bungee cords the wind ripped it right off my load and I think it's somewhere in Saskatchewan now. I have driven in strong wind before but nothing like last Friday between Calgary and south of Nanton ,Alberta. it was brutal.Last edited: Nov 16, 2015

I'll have my daughter watch for it. She lives in Sterling Heights, MI....

It was, and since it got UNDER the trailer and Lifted the trailer over the guardrail, he was rolled... The wind was very strong that day, coming around the mountain... 80mph steady with gust to 110 are not unheard of in that area.jerezxp7 Thanks this.

I used to think my flat was immune to strong winds when empty. Then I got to see the ### lift completely off the ground and start to swing around. now when it's windy I'm parked behind a tall building.

At least the weather's nice down there. I came up Hwy 5 from Kamloops this morning and the roads were pretty nasty. One poor driver lost it on the corner in Avola and ended up on his side in the swamp with the only tree in the vicinity smashed into the cab. I hope they got out ok.
