    Hello!

As I mentionned in some previous messages I just moved back to the US about 7 months ago.

I would like to get my CDL and ultimately be employed with a great company. Simple! But... I dont have 3 year US DL history since I just applied for my PA license last January.

I applied to different companies for their CDL in house training and basically all rejected my application as I didnt have 3 years US DL history.

Does it mean I cant really consider getting a CDL before my third anniversary of US Driver License?

As every company has its own requirements, I wonder if this 3 year DL history, is an industry standard requirement?

it is the same requirement used by insurance companies to determine your insurance rates.

Your insurance rates will be higher during the first 3 years because you don't have what they consider a good driving history..

Companies will not hire you as long as your rates are higher..
