Coleman (new school, if ice costs $1.5o per bag, that's $45 per month. Coleman electric costs $90. ), coffee maker (10 bucks), microwave (40 bucks, 700 watts), crock pot (had an extra at home but maybe 20 bucks), small hand vacuum, lap top, hand tools. I eat pretty well on $40 per week, including coffee.

Buying coffee (2 cups a day) at a truck stop is about $24 buck per week so the coffee pot is a huge saving with only 2 cups per day.

I buy fresh meat and veggies once a week and cook in the crock pot. That makes leftovers and covers about 6 days and makes the truck smell like grandma's kitchen! On the 7th day, I try to find a buffet to undo all the healthy eating!!!

Leftovers get microwaved as do breakfast sandwiches. With the 3 appliances and the cooler, I pocket a minimum of $400 per month more than if I ate in truck stops. Cooler lasts about a year. Even if I needed 4 per year, I am still ahead of the game.

Make sandwiches for lunch. Takes 5 minutes in a rest area, then go for a walk. In winter I may microwave soup, then take a walk. Much quicker than hitting fast food in a truck stop, and healthier.

May not be for everyone, but it works for me.

I had to look in a few walmarts before I found one. The last one I went to, I happened to get the last one. As far as getting good tv stations, I got a good $40 HD amplified antenna from there and have it mounted outside to a pole near a fairing on the back of the sleeper. I get at least 13 good channels wherever I'm at.
