Its a sad thing, air dryer froze up after replacement.

    No one in their right mind would install an antiquated an AD9. IMO It is too easy to switch it to the AD-IS?

    We still use the AD-9. It’s a decent dryer.

    Time consuming and expensive cartridge. It is more likely to be serviced if the only job is changing the spin on canister. On my old W9 it was mounted inside the frame rail under the bunk. Screw that.

    A '93 W9. When I replaced the engine, clutch and transmission I also put in a newer style air dryer and all new lines. The transmission and driveshaft were out of the way so it was easy to do.

    I still run the original dryer system on mine but if I ever have any problems I know how to bypass it to get me home... 20210114_205646.jpg

    My ad 9 is in the engine bay. Easy to get to. Under the bunk? Crazy spot.....
