im on the side of the road waiting for the tow truck to arrive. The only positive from this thing is, I finished all my deliveries. Stupid truck died on my way back to the terminal.

I've been freezing my äśś off the last two hours and the guy towing me is all the way in Oakland.

Some days I regret being a truck driver....

Y'all have a great weekend fellas! Stay warm and most importantly stay safe on those roads.

I thought I had ran out of fuel but that's not what it is. No freaking idea. Roadside service guy just told me I need a tow truck cuz he's not a mechanic

What was the truck doing before it died?. Did you have a look under the hood yet to see if anything looked "wrong".?

I didn't even bother to check cuz I'm ignorant when it comes to checking the engine...

Anyway, I made it home already. I have the feeling this will keep happening cuz my company has mostly old equipment

What do you mean you thought you ran out of fuel?why do you let it get that low?it's not good on the trk especially in the winter. .If the quage isn't working then find a stick piece of wood or something and check your tanks every so often.

just admit it you didn't check the engine because you were lazy and didn't wanna get out in the cold.doesn't matter if it's old equipment or not they can last along time if well taken care of and it's the drivers responsibility to make sure it is.you're the one driving it.if youre ignorant, when it comes to the engine,do you even,do a pretrip?

May be low on coolant/antifreeze.That will shut ya down. Who knows? As long as he's safe and can get a chance to look at a company with good equipment. Plenty of them out there. Sounds Kinda like a company drove for years ago.Central transport. Absolute junk equipment. Best of luck and Merry Christmas.
