Her folks live about 4 hours away, down in Ft. Lauderdale. Just far enough for me to get into some trouble if I feel up to it.....;)

Me too. Sometimes 2 hours before my alarm. At 45, I just don't require as much sleep as I use to. I get up, get my coffee, take my vitamins and go for a walk and try to wake up slowly. Then I'm good for the day.

I use a stick every morning to check the fuel level. I estimated I had enough for the day, which I was right. I have no idea why the truck broke down. Just an old truck doing old truck things....

You are assuming too much lady. I do a pre-trip everyday. Of course I check for all that stuff.

Geez some people just post on here to make others feel stupid or make themselves feel superiors.

Oh ok, cool. I'm just glad I was able to exit the freeway safely, not stop traffic and park in a good area where I could get towed with no problems. All in all, I'm happy this happened at the end of the day.

Have a great day and enjoy Star Wars with the Hubby
