Hey Big, I have been reading your thread and am looking at MTC to be one of the companies I might choose to start with when the time comes. How is the routing, fuel stuff like that? Can you have any riders or a pet with you?

Nice to hear you now have a new 14 pete! sounds like your doing well.

Does anybody know of a driver out of the Gary terminal on this forum? Would like to find out from a driver what is in store for a driver based out of that terminal. Thanks

Whats up guys well i hit the road today all ready and exited to run my pete 1,000,000.00 miles and BOOM!!!! I got a flat yup my first very own flat so i did the old otr report and within 2 hrs i was back at it .... Today was also a very slow trip well thats cuz i had 44,000 lbs and i was climbing hills all afternoon left phx on my way to loveland , colorado anyways good day but to answer some questions ok routing basically once you accept a preplan next messege that comes in is the routing follow the routing it keeps you out of trouble and away from low bridges and higways your not supposed to be on, this doesnt mean you dont have to look out for them .... Fuel well i think i have the best dm in the world she sends in a fuel stop way before i need it , youll here alot of guys crying about getting 30 gallons driving 50 miles and then getting a fill , well two things one get over it you sit on your ashtray all day and you wana cry because you have to get out youre truck one extra time for ten minutes cry me a river two ive only gotten one of those 30 gallon splashes and that was because i thought i wasnt gona make it two the next one but im still a rookie i mis calculated and i would have been just fine ..... Riders yes kids have to be 12 and older and not in school adults of course at a 25 $$ a month insurance fee ( i cant wait to take my wife i know shell love the road but she works so its not possible right now :( ) pets yes theres a 60 lb limit and nice 600 dollar deposit 500 is refundable 150 upfront and the rest of the 600 in 25 dollar weekly withdralws from check so 150 upfront and 450 in 25 $$ weekly payments hope that answers your questions good luck and if you come to the may team ill tell you if you keep a nice and frendly relation with your dm aslong as she knows what shes doing and you follow instructions pickup/deliver on time shell take care of you well that has worked for me as you can tell by my post dont be an ash like some other guys youll be put in the back burner with the 100 mile loads you dont want that good luck i gotta hit the sheets i got a long day ahead of me 2morrow
