loaded and dumped my first roll-off box today. Have day-cab tractor with roll-off trailer. Coming from bulk hazmat tanker, was an interesting time. The pile of dead cows lying 20ft away at the dump site added to the texture. Running again tomorrow.

    baha and Dave_in_AZ Thank this.

I used to haul sludge and hazmat with a 2 can 48' spread, not really hard but it can be time consuming if you have 2 cans on

Single can trailer. Our sludge boxes can be a little heavy, but the other two boxes I have to haul from time to time are fairly light.
Learned today that when the box is at the back of the trailer while dumping, not the best time to expect the drives to have traction on dirt/garbage so you can pull up a little to give the load more room to dump out. LOL.

Yes a lot of times dumping in a landfill I'd have to release the brakes on the trailer and push it forward with the can the reset the brakes and pull the can back on unless I was really stuck or hauling sludge and trying not to make a mess

One thing with roll off is you are almost never at legal, you are either 5000 pounds net in the can or ten thousand over,

The dead horse at the bottom made it look bigger, but I'll say four.

It takes a long time for them to naturally decay.
I've been watching one rot beside the interstate in Montana for well over a year now.
The hide is still formed well on the skeleton, but it's slowly breaking down.
It's laying in plain sight where the farm hands are all the time and the other bovine roam all around it, so I dunno why they didn't snatch it out of there and pull it to where the coyotes could feed off of it.

I also don't know what made me think of this.

That would sustain a large ant colony through the winter I'd think.
