I'm currently out of driving at the moment, but will likely need to get back into it within the next year or two. Bad choices were involved, but here is where it gets generally tricky...hence my advice, and you're free to grill me as well.
I've had a few speeding tickets...all dismissed and not on my MVR. A fender bender or two...not on my MVR. The only thing I have is a no seatbelt ticket on my PSP record...and that ticket was dismissed as well and not on my MVR. The only thing ON my MVR is an accident in my personal vehicle from 5 years ago.
Now, bad choices aside, I know a seatbelt ticket is a pretty serious ticket. Is this alone enough to screw me from getting hired on anywhere (at least without a year or two passing so it gets weighted less)? I can't believe it personally, when I was driving I grew to hate it, but nowadays, I miss the road a lot more than I expected to. It was fun out there!
So, yeah. Feel free to offer any advice. I've realized it's dumb to drive so outlaw, so I want to know if I have another chance for a crack at it...lots of reasons as to why.
It's time for some real talk - how screwed am I?

If it's not on your MVR, then don't list it on applications.

Do you live in North Carolina, or where?

You’re going to have to do a refresher course before anyone will look at you. I wouldn’t worry about the seatbelt violation

Yup, NC. Been thinking about hopping on with Schneider to do tanker work since I have my X endorsement on my license.Chinatown Thanks this.

Schneider tanker is a good choice.

Slow down, wear your seat belt, and don't hit anything else.
