In the powder world the shippers load us on scales, no big deal. You simply require the shippers to supply a certified shipping weight on the load. They do it in our world works just fine.

they wont let 800 lbs slide here in CA, 200 ok. but 800 is a ticket. In my case the company pays for weight tickets. Not axle but gross. They also pay all scale tickets.

 

load scales on the tractor and trailer would be a heck of a lot simpler
