It's Understandable Why There Is Violence At Truck Stops

People who #### with other people's trucks are just as big pieces of #### as people who hold people up on the fuel island. While holding other drivers up is inconsiderate, vandalism is criminal. Let's all strive not to fall into either category.

 

Agreed. And you never know there may be a legitimate reason for why they haven’t moved.

If I see someone blocking the fuel island, I’ll go up and ask them to move if they are done. If they refuse or get all snarky, it’s time to find someone with more authority than I have.

I have a feeling some of the responses here have never done what they say they did.

 

I really do wonder how some people get a CDL in this country, I'm not sure how you can do that if you cannot read or effectively speak English. I drove through the Chicago suburbs on 294 yesterday and there were all sorts of trucks in the two outer left lanes with signs clearly posted saying that no trucks should be in those lines, but you have all sorts of dippy truckers clogging up those lanes and slowing down traffic for everyone else.

I know people who are Sikh and I have a ton of respect for those people and am confident that they actually give a crap when it comes to truck driving. Some others though I think are very questionable.

 

I won't say I haven't considered retaliation but cameras are everywhere and jail is unpleasant so I refrain....but I will gladly cheer on anyone willing to take the risk.

 

If I were to adapt the padlock or sticker method posted you could call me anything you want. I really wouldn’t care and would still be able to sleep at night without the slightest concern.
Refusing to Identify or hand over video of someone doing something to one of the a holes blocking others from fueling and moving on with earning thier pay will also not result in loss of sleep except maybe for some laughter as I view the expression on the a holes face when they realize someone got them.

While not wrong. The big thing is half the time you can cover a drivers entire truck in middle finger stickers and they wouldnt notice till like 10 days later when someone commented on it /shrug. plus considering how often the police will flat out ignore actully serious crimes. Im not especially worried about them giving a #### about a paper sticker that 3 seconds with a scraper could get off your window if you really tried. And if they do come after me. I have a hard time imagineing the fine for a sticker that does no actual damage would be more then $100. Actual jail time for it would be just silly.

 

Thanks God we have only English here. Just imagine in Europe if you have load from Netherlands to Portugal how many languages you need to be able to read and effectively speak.
