You can make the lap portion of seatbelt as loose as necessary to allow you to move hips around as much as you want.
I've been dying of a back ache, do the gel cushions help?

With my last job. I could hunch myself on the steering wheel. It didn't have steering wheel functions and was all highway.
My current rig has functions and it's all city. -
Personally, i used to have back problems so bad when I was young, that I would get " frozen in place. I started doing back stretches I learned from a pain specialist that also involved deep pressure on nerves and I'm better than I was when 20. I'm 66. But that's me and no hip issues yet.broke down plumber and The_vett Thank this. -
Epidural steroid spine injection and chin up bar helped me with my sciatic nerve pain

Take that fat wallet out of your back pocket,,, there is actually some truth to that. I always took my wallet out of my back pocket, seemed to help some, although my wallet was so thin, I barely felt it( rim-shot) If it's any consolation, in all my years, I've known countless individuals trying any quack method known to alleviate back problems. Guess what? NONE WORKED! Operations, injections, goofy contraptions, all snake oil. According to one site, Americans spend BILLIONS ( that's with a "B") on back care and all we're doing is adding more levels to the doctors already sprawling mansions. My gripe all along, if they cure these maladies, where will their money come from? I have a 1985 Mack R model to thank for my back problems, and why I wear a back brace to this day. EVERYBODY has back problems, it's quite a racket. You are trying the wrong approach, no seat will help, its the sedentary nature of the job, and all I can say, is to get out every so often, but that's not always available. Here's one for our fabulous healthcare system. My neighbor, 77, complained of debilitating back pain for over a year. Injections, drugs did nothing, and chalked it up to arthritis. Well, she fainted one day, turns out, she had a UTI that was never noticed, and spread into her kidneys causing the back pain. Way to go, Doc Sawbones,,,

Apply for social security three months before you turn 62 and then move to Southeast Asia where you can live on the cheap and get plenty of low cost massages/ accupuncture etc.
