Ive got a road test for employment with Con Way Freight- what will it consist of?

It's going to consist of a pre-trip, short road test, back-up test usually straight back and then they will most likely have you unhook, then hook. Make sure to use your hazards when backing and doing yard exercises and if you want to butter them up toot the horn before backing and get out and look at least once! While on your road test be sure to constantly be looking in both mirrors and look way ahead of what you are doing. Seatbelt is a given! Never coast in neutral and don't shift over railroad crossings! This should at least get you to pass. Good luck!

Its just like your CDL road test, maybe less in depth. depending on the driver trainer, you might run through the whole gamut, maybe not.
When backing, even if you know nothing is there get out and look. GOAL. It is the right thing to do, and you'll win points with the evaluator.
