Congrats! You will find a way to make it work, may just take a bit to figure it out.

    HAWAIIANTHRIVER Thanks this.

  3. Thanks! I've been in the lease game since 09. I paid off a 386 Pete in 2013 but I wasn't smart when I began that lease. I didn't have 30 or 40k saved up by the time I paid it off and decided to sell it 4 months after I paid it off. :( I still miss that Truck. I chalk it up as a learning thing. The next one, I'll have money in the bank.

    Boise, Idaho?!!?!! [IMG]

Forget "isn't great", it's impossible dude!
That's pretty much one of the worst places to be an IC here.
Just to give you an example there's ZERO loads coming out of Boise within 200 miles throughout the next 7 days.

Ask any driver here and they'll tell you where you live sucks.
Not trying to make you sad but just saying what needs to be said because you aren't gonna hear that from Schneider.

If you don't mind staying out very long periods of time or taking airplanes home it can work.
I've heard of two drivers that live in AZ which have left their truck in the midwest or Texas and get home by airplane. AZ sucks but is a lot better than Boise just to give an example.

RStewart, Repete86 and HAWAIIANTHRIVER Thank this.

In a new twist of events, I called SFI to ask a few questions & talked to a different person. She couldn't find my app. Evidently it didn't go through for some reason. I will submit another & go from there. I'm dealing with a lady named Sandra at SFI. Anyone dealt with her?
