I'm just going to leave this here without pointing fingers.
If you can't answer someone's question without snark, don't answer it at all.
I don't want to have to address this again. Carry on.PoleCrusher, RStewart, stuge and 1 other person Thank this. -
My lips are sealed...

Just got a call from my recruiter & set up my phone interview for this morning at 11. This is moving along nicely but maybe a little fast. Lol. I don't want to leave my job (for personal reasons) for at least a couple more weeks. I figured the process would take at least that long & I'm sure it still might/can. One step at a time Stewart.

I've been approved! Not sure when I'm coming to orientation yet, but the first step is done. Now my wife & I are getting excited & kinda anxious.

Ive been following these forums on the choice programs for a while and u guys give the best info! Thank u a whole friggen lot..No negators just real guys doin it! Im happy at my job but not satisfied because ive always wanted my own truck and choice. This is the only program in my eyes that makes sensce. But my fear is this and maybe u all could help me w some reality.
The negative:
1. I have 4 years experience w jb but all dedicated ny, nj, pa, ma and ct and no otr.
2. I have bottom of barrel credit bcuz i was so dumb w finances in my early-mid 20s pre trucking n had to go through bankruptcy less then year ago. Im 31 now n am doin great but still have badly stained credit history from past.
On the positive
1. I have great work history being with jb hunt 4 years n no job hopping.
2. I have 10 grand saved and am current on all bills and have low expenses per month- roughly 1400 monthly all bills expenses.
3. I live in newburgh ny which im thinkin might be great freight area bein near nj n pa border and within 100 miles of a ton of warehouses n conglomerates.
What are really my chances of being acknowledged in this program if i apply? Do i even have a shot in hell!? I would want a new fl evo. But if i get used fl and/or pay more up front like 5 grand down or pay a month of truck payments in advance will it give me a better shot of getting accepted? Also congrats to all the guys/gals that just got accepted. Thanks for any feedback! -
