Look around and you'll see some Diesel APUs on IC shakers.

I was up front with them and told them there's no way I'm going with another battery pack APU, that ain't happening.
My days of waking up to a hot truck due to a dead battery are over with!

Was told it was an extra $1800 up front for the Diesel APU on a Shaker and has to be done at the factory.
At that point the one year lease on a Shaker was no longer worth it to me.

You could do two years on a used KW. It's $2k up front for that.

 

Sadwar is getting a new FL next month. He paid the extra $1800 and is getting an APU installed. ThermoKing is just down the street.

 

Well, I know that ThermoKing will install one but knowing SNI/SFI, it's probly cheaper to have it installed at the factory. Drill you SFI Rep about it.
