Even if you had a truck to lease on with it the job listings say you need OTR experience.

    I can be very persuasive.

Honestly not sure. Just told them about my 10 yrs of otr experience both as a company driver and o/o. Just my lucky (maybe) day I guess.

True. I didn't think about that. I'm surprised they would be OK putting someone with very little driving experience in a truck but would say no to someone with 18 years & over 2 million accident free miles. If it's meant to be it will happen I guess. I do the same job as any other driver except more D/H & I'm home more. Sorry. I'm just a little bummed & frustrated.

Don't let it get to you. This isn't as great as it seems.

And don't let anything SNI does baffle you, or you'll be in a permanent state of bafflement.

Not that I'm defending Schneider but this job requires lots of trip planning, crunching HOS, numbers etc etc.
Someone with only local or dedicated experience etc would be far behind vs someone with OTR experience whom daily has to trip plan around HOS, traffic, appointment times etc etc and all the while doing it in many areas around the country.

That's not to say someone can't learn and handle themselves here without that experience but I'm guessing that might be something that has to do with it.
