Well, you all seem to be comparing apples and oranges somewhat. I have argued it before and I will argue it with anyone. An o/o driving an ungoverned truck at 62 will get better fuel economy than a castrated company truck governed at 62 with the cruise set against the governor. And driving 62 is only more calming and comfortable when you are doing it because you want to, and know that you can do 70 for a minute to get out from behind someone you dont like following. If you are forced to follow, 62 isnt less stressful at all.

75 mph on the floor, 100 mph down the hill, 45 mph and slowing half way up the hill.
That is 75% of the Billy Big Riggers senario out there.
Would be great if they got back over in the right lane, so I could pass them up hill in my 65 mph company truck.
Don't worry BBR, you can pass me three or four more times throughout the day, and typically at the end of the day we are in the same truckstop.
Same guy that will most likely blow past you, chop you off to get back over, then jam on the brakes to exit off.
To each their own, but just cause you got a fast flat land truck doesn't mean your not holding somebody else up.
The faster truck doesn't own the road.
I'm fine with my 65 mph 500 HP company truck.
Your politicians & special interest groups have their way, all trucks will be governed soon enough, just like eobr's, its the future.fins2feathers Thanks this. -
Typical company driver who is the same guy whining about this but will run side by side with another 65 mph truck blocking up all lanes for 5 miles.. Give me a break. Oh and just for your information i dont cut off trucks nor do i crawl up the hills as bad as you think...fins2feathers Thanks this. -
