j&r schugel a company full of rookie dispatchers and lies

J&r schugel has nice equipment and this is all, they have a very high driver and dispatch turn over, I worked for them over 2years,the miles were never conscient, when you wanted to get home they would get you home but you r going to sacrifice almost a weeks pay regardless of time at home, their dispatchers r the worst I have ever experienced ever, difficult to get more than a day out dispatch, planners r pitiful, have no idea how the business can operate in a way non stop running in circles poorest communication ever they must charge outrageous amounts of money, to cover the inexperienced dispatchers, the pay is terrible benefits high lousy coverage for basic they have added satellite TV service which we have to pay weekly not good coverage no local channels, u not allowed to order movies that I'm aware of, forced into taking perdium which wipes out total income and creates income tax problems. Was rarely ever late onlyweather related and equipment problems, after quiting once I was talked and promised they would fix bad dispatch low miles problem only to last a week then they returned to old self, now they say company owned but I never received any extra money and was never asked to make decisions concerning business so this time after breaking their promise again I informed them I quit they were upset as they should be im accident free no speeding tickets they were loosing a good driver they insisted I return their semi and would not let me return to 1 of there secured lots but 350 miles from my home which I did upon agreeing they would have me home the same day, to my surprise lol not only did they not get me home when promised which only was 5or so hours by bus or rental car I arrived on time with their semi as I promised I would even early they greeted me with a piece of paper saying Mankato to muscatine only bus for the Sunday that went in those hours but no ticket only paper they took me to a airport shuttle 45 minutes away then there was no conformation of me early 0600 no one to verify period then was shuttled 2 hours towards home sat in a burger King 11 hours waiting for a bus that was to take me back opposite direction 2hours then wait another5 hours then go to Chicago 400 miles out of way only to then go another 3 hours towards home after a 27 hour run which should has not been over 6hours tops. They were told I under no circumstances could I arrive later than Sunday night but they set it up so I would not arrive until1030monday am. Which was going to b to late for new job which I then would have to wait up to 1month b4 another orientation, so out of my pocket I arranged for a friend to pick me up15 hours of sitting to travel 4 hours more to get home! ! ! Driver avoid schugel like the plague as they will break you try to control your money my option run away from these loosens as I will tell every driver I know or talk to to go the other way and I have proof of what I say they have a extreme turn over of experienced drivers leave daily word to the wise stay away, good luck in your searches

 

From my experience you have to have xtra money withheld and it does appear to the government that you Don make what you make which will cause u a decline in the amount u receive in social security if it is still around when we retire

 

Maybe you r right I didn't explain well enough, they did not keep their word and we had discussed if they didn't I would quit, and I they did, not plus they offered to pay way home as part of the terms to return equip., we agreed to times and reasons y, I had no problem getting self home but they lied,sorry for the long thread, maybe b4 you start running your mouth, maybe u could have trusted your fellow drivers word over assuming I was wrong, that tells me maybe u r a coward to speak your mind but that's fine. Drivers should hang together, I apologize for not describing better, been driving over a million miles no problems first time I ever said bad about a company, my bad drivers but maybe u ought to ask b4 u believe those whom has your interest at heart. Sorry you must b a young driver uninformed, next time I will try harder to explain better but I would not make a stupid reply like (u quit pay your own way when obviously your crystal ball don't work!!)
