Not it sure about who "bought" the company as for that I know that the 3 brothers run it and in sure partially own it. Everyone, when I mean everyone is having a camera they are. Even L/O are getting them. As for guys that run their own trucks I've only seen two guys so far and didn't ask. If I'm at the terminal and see one of then I'll ask. I know for a fact I seen a guy 2 million miles safe driving have one so I'm pretty sure if you want to run with schugel you'll have to have one in about 90% on that. Like I said I need to talk to an O/O.

220 dead head miles to New Jersey for a load out of the house. 770 loaded miles from NJ to IL.

Hey Roger, so how are you able to do a fridge and microwave without the inverter?

Im im actually stoping in Columbus, OH on my way on this trip. The first reason is I have a coolant leak. The second reason is to put the inverter in as well and they can just take it out of my pay.

Cameras? Wow. 3 years ago I talked to them about possibly coming back and to see friends there. At that time they weren't even willing to do e-logs. I used to be there from 2006-2007. Now cameras? Wow. Just wow.

So I'm here. I got here on their time early. Now, the trailer isn't ready and I'm going to sleep and will hook up to it on my time. Kinda pissed I came out of the house early today to get to NJ take an 8 and 2 split to run this through the night possibly getting to Columbus in the morning to get things taken care of and be on my way. Now, wake up at 6 hit traffic, every scale that's open, and possibly have to reschedule this load arrival due to me needing to get this coolant leak fixed. MaMaMia!!

Yup, but it's really an insurance thing I'm thinking. I don't really care that it's in there because it could save my CDL. I need this job to buy a house so no point in leaving I'm already almost 7 months in and the bank said due to what I make here I can get a loan after one year. I really can't complain about the company as a whole. The camera, no pet policy, and inverter are the three that come to mind. The insurance isn't the best but the premium glasses insurance is wicked good. I love it here, some days are better then others but most days it's just me the rig a load and a few automated safety messages. Still a great company to work for.

back to the camera. It's a double sided camera. At first I didn't want nothing to do with it. Some guys are getting in accidents and I'm guessing they want to see what's really going on. Schugel at one point had one of the best safety ratings in the country. I think it's changed so now they want to see what and why the drivers are doing. When the chance comes and I have a mortgage I will respectively walk away for somthing local. I will leave the door open to come back here if I ever wanted to go OTR again. Time is running out and i have a goal to do hazmat tanker local. So like I said when that time comes I'll be leaving.

I liked working there. I never had a major issue, after a year of intermodal with them out of Bethlehem, I went back OTR and just couldn't make the money I wanted. This was back before e-logs and APUs and when J&R was a total International fleet.

I dont ing think they do Intermodle anymore. I know for fact they don't do flat bed anymore as well. Anyways I'm still here, still making good money for only being in the industry for 11 months.
