I haven't signed up for anything, yet. I fly out Sunday. I have to go to the reefer division if I'm going to get any hometime as I live in Florida.

Are they flying you out? Anyways, I've never been to a port yet, probably won't seeing I don't have my twic. You'll have to ask a driver once you go to orientation if you see one. Good luck -
Wade68 Thanks this.

As far as food goes, I'm not picky. I'll eat anything with onions.
I'll definitely keep you updated on how it goes. I'm in the airport now about to get on my flight. -
Caught an earlier flight to Minneapolis and saved J&R Schugel $117. Only downside is I still have to wait until 5:30 for pick up. No big deal, I would rather wait here than down in Florida.

The road test is easy. Just make sure you mKe your turns good. The town has tight turns. When I went on it. We went from the yard right down the street, and docked at this ware hous it's already set up site side and the lot is big enough where you basically can go just past and cut it right and straighten out so it's basically a straight back. I backed down and when close got out and looked to make it look good even knowing I didn't have to. After that you go around another black or two and then switch. Usually you'll go with another guy and who ever is doing the road test.
I would imagine they would also have freightliners. You might have to go to tomah to get a truck if they don't have a enough. Haven't been to new ulm in a while so I wouldn't know. My trucks one of the oldest with 339,000 should be getting turned in probably early next year. Some guys get lucky get a truck with 500 or I got this one with 240-260 on it. -
I'll update after orientation tomorrow. The Challenger Thanks this. -
Well well a load going 400 miles that delivers on wed at 21:00. Looks like I'll take my time and get there @ 20:00 and collect detention because mclane takes for evvvvvvvver.

Again, I'm really feeling this company. Today we did the Smith System driver evaluation in the company van, and it was done very professionally by Troy one of the head safety folk there. Troy is really straight forward guy and gives it like it is. He's quite frank about what the company expects concerning safety, and extremely knowledgeable on the Smith System.
Tomorrow is the road test where we're going to be put three to a truck with a tester and go out and do some maneuvers, shifting, turning, handling and what-not. No problems here. I feel I'm going to ace it right on the money. Heck, working at the carnival I can handle anything!
