Make sure to sign up for open road. Covers your ### for 7.80 a week in case you need a lawyer in any state, and town. Hope every thing works out! Good luck

Today was the road test. Passed it after quite some time. It's a difficult, thought provoking set up that even got a few of the "old-timers", but they did it to simulate one of their real customers. They say they'd rather you take a bit longer to get it right, than hit someone's nice new Peterbilt!

Also I got assigned a truck today. A 2013 Freightliner Cascadia. Love it! Drug screens weren't in as of yet, so we weren't able to take them for a good test run to get the feeling for our truck. Tomorrow is the day we get Qualcomm training, the interviews with Amy and do a meet and greet with our dispatchers.

J&R Schugel is a frank and honest company that is up front with everything. Even the L/P's get everything up front. They handed the only person seeking L/P their contract to go over it, overnight, before they sign on the dotted line. They really want you to know what you're getting into. They never push the L/P, and that was a good sign. I'm not even anywhere's close to wanting to own my own truck, but I think it's an attractive option at J&R Schugel.

Saw some of the videos that the DriverCam recorded. I want that camera in my truck. I'm 100% for it. Even if I was an independent operator getting my own freight I'd have it in my truck. If you're a safe driver, that camera should never have a negative impact on your career!

(Sorry RogerThat72 for piggybacking my experience on your thread, but it's just working out that way!)

Nice. I've hit the button myself I wonder if any of my videos were on there lol. Anyways, I messed up this load was ready yesterday and delivers tonight. Got the dates messed up but I'm here and waiting for a door 2 hours early. I'll actually be in New Ulm tomorrow picking up a pre loaded kraft on a 975 mile load going to Fort Worth, Texas. Needs to be there by Friday. I've been really good with being on time since being here so they tend to give me long runs, or runs that have to be there in a shorter period of time. Anyways, if you prove yourself, or if you make a mistake, and learn from it they'll stand by you no matter what. Your drug tests will be in by the end of the day. Glad you got a newer truck mine just hit 340,000 like I said should be getting traded in probably early next year. I drive a blue KW have different antennas then the stock ones on. You might see me you might not. Actually, I have to stop in and get a new ez pass so I'll poke my head in and see what's up if you guys are around or not. If the doors closed I won't disturb I don't want to get into trouble lol.

Yep, you gotta see Troy for the EZ Pass. He's doing Qualcomm training tomorrow right at 7, so pop in and get a refresher! lol! jk jk

My Cascadia only has 223k on it, so It's 3/4 of it's J&R Schugel life.

I'm here did 607 miles today. Low on hours, no parking at kraft so hopefully they are real quick. Next load from copell, TX to South Carolina 1050 miles delivers 0500 Monday morning. Plenty of time, cruis on over for the weekend. Be safe!

Nope I haven't been there yet, and by the sounds of it don't want to lol. I've picked up subway meets in east spring field at Coranado. Haven't been there in a while. Been doing a lot of yankee candle or outer or inner boston area lately when I go home or come out of the house. Some times NH as well or CT I guess it just depends. I'm guessing it's a reefer trailer that you are seeing?

you love in MA, who you working for? I live in Adams,MA wish I could find somthing local but it's like I'm caught in between Albany and Springfield. Not that I don't love working here it's just, my son is 3 and idk once I buy a house then I'll be looking to come home for good.
